Knoxville Raceway fantasy league taking registration
Knoxville — The 2010 Knoxville Raceway Fantasy League by Fantasy Dirt Racing is back and ready for another exciting year. The Knoxville Raceway
Fantasy League allows fans another avenue to cheer on their favorite drivers.
2009 was the inaugural year for the fantasy league and out of 250 teams team MRI took home the grand prize of Passes to this year's 50th Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil! Two other teams also won tickets to Knoxville Raceway Events.
This year's fantasy schedule will include 14 races starting on May 8 and ending on Sept. 4. Fantasy League Player's will pick 4 Drivers during registration. These drivers will be the core of your team. Each month you will then pick a 5th "Wild Card" Driver from a pool of drivers at Knoxville
Raceway.
Knoxville Fantasy League Teams will be scored based on your drivers A Main Feature finish. Team's should be chosen carefully because the "Wild Card" Driver will be the most valuable Driver and will earn double points but is not allowed be already be part of your roster.
2010 registration will remain free and the winner of the league will receive a set of 2010 Knoxville Late Model Nationals Tickets, Second Place will take home a Knoxville Raceway Shirt, Cap, and a Raceopoly Board game, Third Place will receive a Knoxville Raceopoly Board game. Baseball team going to state!
After a 7-2 victory over Mt. Pleasant last night, the Knoxville HIgh School boys' baseball team punched its ticket to the state tournament once again.

More enter non-winged Nationals
Ricky Logan of Little Rock,Arkansas, Brady Bacon of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Robert Ballou of Rocklin, California, are the latest three sprint car drivers to enter the inaugural $5,000-to-win, United States Auto Club (USAC)-sanctioned Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals, to be held on Sunday, August 8, at the Knoxville Raceway.

Hockett posthumously named "Mr. Sprint Car"
McTwo Promotions, Knoxville Raceway and Bruce and Debi Cox of title sponsor Cox Design & Metal Fabrication have agreed that the ninth annual Cox Design Iowa SpeedWeek, August 5-14, will now award the Jesse Hockett "Mr. Sprint Car" title in honor of the fallen racer from Warsaw, Missouri.

Big weekend ahead at Knoxville Raceway
