Pleasantville students double Meals goal

Pleasantville — A group of 16 Pleasantville High School seniors have organized a Meals from the Heartland planning event on Friday at 8 a.m. While they had a goal to raise $2,000 to create meals, one of the students indicated that $4,000 has actually been raised.

Katelyn Sanders reported that her seminar group, led by Dennis Oliver, had been able to achieve this. Meals will be packaged Friday, Nov. 16, at PHS. The event will end when $4,000 worth of meals has been made.
