Planning meeting Tuesday for International Night

Knoxville — The Knoxville PTO is hoting an International Night on Feb. 19. The group is compiling a list of presenters prior to its planning meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 22.

"We would like our children to enjoy a multi-cultural event that represents the diversity of cultures in our communities. We are looking for people, or groups of people, to present to our elementary school children," a PTO press release reads.

This can include food, dance, artifacts, dress or language - anything you think the kids would enjoy.

Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to send their names and phone numbers to Steve Linsley at sandlinsley@gmail.com.

The International Night is scheduled for Feb. 19 at 6 p.m., at Northstar Elementary.
