Knoxville — The Knoxville FFA won Friday night's Knoxville Education Foundation chili cookoff.
Ten entrants made their own pots of chili. For $5, those attending the basketball games could sample each one and vote for their favorite. At the end of the night, FFA, represented by Jeremy Rawlings, was the top vote-getter. He was presented with the KEF's Golden Ladle.
The KEF is a nonprofit organization that regularly contributes money to local schools to purchase things to enhance learning which otherwise may not be funded through the budget.
