• Scripture Study at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Ernie Braida and Martha Popson is held every Thursday morning after daily Mass. Everyone is welcome to come to prepare for the coming Sunday by looking at these readings.

• Birthright has additional volunteers, which allows the office to be open more hours each week. New office hours for Birthright of Knoxville are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and Tuesday from 1:30-6:30 p.m.
• A Bible study and reflection will be held each Wednesday evening during Lent at 7:15 p.m. at the St. Anthony’s Church Hall. Participants will read and reflect upon upcoming Sunday readings.
• The KC fish fry is held every Friday night of Lent beginning at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony’s.
• Bishop Martin Amos will preside over Atonement Services at Sacred Heart in Melcher and St. Anthony’s in Knoxville as part of the process of healing the pain from sexual abuse and to bring us together, united in the body of Christ. It is a time to acknowledge the suffering of those who experienced abuse, their families and for parishes, the laity and the clergy. All are invited to St. Anthony’s on April 25 at 10:30 a.m. and Sacred Heart at 1 p.m. for dialogue, reflection and prayer.
• Sacred Heart Parish in Melcher will host Good Friday services will at 7:30 p.m. Easter Vigil Mass will be at 8:30 p.m. On Easter Sunday, April 12, Mass will be at 8:30 a.m., followed by an Easter egg hunt for children through sixth grade in the church hall.
• Living Word Fellowship is hosting these events: April 10, 7-8 p.m.-Good Friday "A Precarious Position" Drama-"Trading Places"; April 12, 9 a.m.-Breakfast at the Jenkins Center, 10 a.m.-Easter Celebration "His Vindication"; Drama-"World News Network".
• Community Bible Study every Friday, 7 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 1601 N. Lincoln, with Rev. Bob Smith leading; the coffee is always on.

• The United Methodist Women invite the women of Knoxville to a Guest Day Breakfast at the First United Methodist church in Knoxville at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 2. The program will be given by Pastor Arnette Pint regarding the Women at the Well program at Mitchellville Prison. She will be sharing what a difference it makes in the lives of the prisoners.
