LuAnn Fee, 52, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012.
She was born Dec. 9, 1959, in Des Moines, the daughter of John Edward and Imogene Leona (Ream) Fee. LuAnn attended and graduated from Knoxville High School, Class of 1978. After high school she attended Indian Hills Community College and received her LPN nursing degree and later she received her RN nursing degree.
LuAnn worked in the health care service all her life. She was a RN Nurse in Iowa and California, where LuAnn and Daniel Lee Lennie lived from 1996 to 2009. In California she had worked at the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs and also as a Hospice Care Nurse. In 2009 when LuAnn and Dan moved back to Knoxville she worked for the Legacy Lodge in Chariton and most recently the Pleasantville Care Center.
LuAnn enjoy the small pleasures in life. She liked being driven around in a car, and rocking in her rocking chair. LuAnn was also a collector of Barbie Dolls and she loved cats.
LuAnn is survived by her companion of 20 years Dan Lennie of Knoxville; her son Scott Edward Fee and his wife Rachel stationed in the country of Bahrain; and one granddaughter Harley Fee. LuAnn is also survived by her parents John and Imogene Fee of Hemet, Calif.; two sisters Connie Lenger and Lori Sinnard and her husband Jeff both of Knoxville; one brother Roger Fee and Annette Page of Indianola; and her special cat Maggie Mae
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother in infancy; and one brother-in-law Jon Lenger.
Memorial services were held Wednesday June 27, 2012, also at the Winfield Funeral Home with Dr. Dick Young officiating. A memorial has been established to the LuAnn’s family. Condolences may be sent to www.winfieldfh.com.
