Spring cleaning around the City

Knoxville — The Ides of March has brought with it some Spring cleaning in City of Knoxville facilities.

We found members of the Knoxville Fire/Rescue Department carefully sweeping out, and hosing down, the fire truck bays at the station.

Across the street, at City Hall, carpet in the new reception area was being laid. City Clerk Heather Ussery was also painting the hallway as the building continues its face lift.

We don't have pictures yet, but the new equipment for the Kiwanis Miracle Playground at Young's Park arrived today. Assistant City Manager Dylan Feik was out of the office briefly to assist Wastewater Treatment Plant workers in unloading the equipment.
