Knoxville Dance Team show Saturday

Knoxville —  

The Knoxville Dance Team will host its annual Spring Show on Saturday, March 16, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 

Director Heidi Feldman said the team will perform Jazz, Hip Hop, Kick, Pom, Lyrical, Novelty and Light Routines. All-male and co-ed routines will also be part of the show. A total of 134 4-year-old through eighth grade student clinic participants will be performing. There are solo and group routines. 

“They are routines we've been working on all season (Since August, some are newer and some are our State routines),” Feldman said. “This is our final performance of the season and we will be graduating one senior, Tori Reed.” 

Admission is $5 for adults over 10, $3 for students 10 and under. Children four and under attend for free.

    Steven James Thompson, 17, of Knoxville, and Derek Levi Springer, 18, of Bussey, were involved in a crash around 4:54 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on Highway 163 in Mahaska County. Both suffered injuries as a result.
