Knoxville — Republican Iowa Senate District 14 Candidate Amy Sinclair has picked up two endorsements, from Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Industry PAC.

Iowa State Senate candidate Amy Sinclair has been named a “Friend of Iowa Business” by the Iowa Industry PAC, the political action committee of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry. Sinclair, a Republican, is seeking election to the Iowa Senate in District 14 that includes Wayne, Decatur, Clarke, Lucas, Marion and portions of Jasper counties.
The Iowa Industry PAC evaluates candidates based on their support for a competitive business climate with a focus on creating Iowa jobs. Criteria used to make the designations include the candidates’ positions on issues based on questionnaire responses, interviews and their approach to general business community concerns.
“Amy has demonstrated that she will be an advocate for improving Iowa’s business climate so that employers can create more jobs and grow the economy,” said Michael Ralston, President of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry. “ABI looks forward to working with Amy to produce legislation that everyone can get behind: more economic stability for Iowa.”
The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) is comprised of over 1,400 companies that employ more than 310,000 Iowans. As "The Voice of Iowa Business Since 1903," ABI serves as the Iowa State Chamber of Commerce and works to enhance the Iowa business climate to foster growth and prosperity for all Iowans.
The Iowa Industry PAC is non-partisan and endorses both Republican and Democratic candidates for legislative offices. The committee encourages voters to consider the endorsements when evaluating which candidates will focus on economic issues and help bring jobs to Iowa when voting this November.
Iowans for Tax Relief PAC has endorsed Amy Sinclair of Allerton for State Senator.

Amy Sinclair is a candidate for the Iowa Senate in the November 6 election. Amy is a wife and mother of three boys. She has lived in the district for over 17 years. Amy has been elected twice to the Wayne County Board of Supervisors and is now serving in that role.
