School Board meets Monday

Knoxville — The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session Monday, Oct. 8, at 5:30 p.m. The full agenda is pasted below.

10.  DISCUSS CLASS SIZE ISSUES Reports on class size are attached.  Principals have 
been asked to talk about class size and why certain classes or “sections” are larger than others.

auditorium projects.

12.  APPROVE BOYS BASKETBALL CAMPS Approve the application for boys basketball camps
submitted by Jeff Larson.

13.  DMACC SOUTHRIDGE CAMPUS Norwalk is hosting an informational meeting about 
MEETING – NOVEMBER 27 the new DMACC campus at Southridge Mall.  As a
district located within reasonable distance to the campus, Knoxville has the opportunity to send high school students to the campus.  The November 27 meeting is designed to provide an opportunity for board members to learn more about the campus and programs that will be offered high school students.  Our second November meeting is scheduled for the same evening.  If board members are interested in attending the Norwalk meeting, we can change our meeting date or have only one meeting in November.  If board members are not interested in attending the meeting, we can ask that Mr. Crawford and/or high school deans attend the meeting.  Board action would be required to change the date of the board meeting.
