Update: Chamber building sold

Knoxville — The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce building has been sold for $58,000. 

The Chamber building, 309 East Main, was listed at $72,000. The building has been worked on over the past several years, after issues arose with the apartments in the upper level of the structure. 

A press release from the Chamber indicates that the organization is leasing space from the new owner, yet to be identified. 

 

"The Chamber is currently in discussion with the Knoxville Public Library Board regarding possible future accommodations at the Dixie Gebhardt House," the release also says.
