Marion County Republicans open headquarters

Pella — The Marion County Republicans held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday morning at their headquarters in Pella. 

Marion County Republican Chair Irene Blom was unsure of the regular hours the office would keep, as it will be staffed by volunteers. She does expect the office to be open on Saturdays between and now and the election, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The office is located on 16th Street, between Arby's and Taco John's. Blom recognizes that having a single office may be difficult, as Marion County is now split into two districts for both the Iowa House and Iowa Senate. A satellite office may be organized in Knoxville, or other arrangements made.
