Jason Swanson Chosen as Hero of the Month at KHC

Knoxville —

Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is happy to announce that Jason Swanson, Nutritional Services, was chosen as the KHC Hero of the Month in November. Jason demonstrates the KHC values every day and is always the first one to jump up and see if someone needs assistance.

“Jason has a passion for what he does and is always thinking of new things and demonstrates innovation by trying out new recipes and creating the weekly menus to satisfy both patients and employees alike. For the last board meeting he presented a new chicken cordon bleu recipe that went over very well.  He is always reliable and a team player.  Without being asked, he willingly came in on his weekend off to help train a new employee,” commented a co-worker.

As KHC Hero of the Month, Jason receives a free lunch in the cafeteria, $25 in KHC merchandise, a reserved parking spot, and recognition. He also will be in the running for KHC Hero of the Year in May 2013.

The KHC Hero of the Month is chosen by their peers for following the Standards of Behavior which are: Appearance, Attitude, Respect, Communication, and Ownership/Accountability.

The other employees nominated during the month of November were Elaine Dralle, Dr. Bryon Schaeffer, Jill Coy, Chuck Keuning, Dr. Dan Rowley, Dr. Val Bonnett, Janet Wallace, and Tara Branson.
