Knoxville — Learning turned to fun Friday afternoon when Roger Timm's science class went into the halls of Knoxville Middle School to learn how lenses can be used to use heat from the sun. They tried making s'mores.

Coaches vs. Cancer total surpasses 2011
Though the final tally from Saturday's Coaches vs. Cancer event in Knoxville is not yet available, the current total more than surpasses the $24,000 raised in 2011. One seventh grade student helped add to what will be an even more impressive total.
