Winter Day Camp at the Russell Wildlife Area Dec. 28

OSKALOOSA — Kids, get out of the house during your winter break from school and come out to the Mahaska County Conservation Board’s conservation center at the Russell Wildlife Area for a Winter Day Camp.

The fun will begin at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. Dress for the weather because having fun in winter is spending some time outdoors. Indoor activities (including a movie and popcorn) will also be held so you can warm up your fingers and toes.

The event is free and is for all ages. Pre-register by calling the Mahaska County Conservation Board at (641) 673-9327.
