Slick roads may have been the cause of Pella rollovers

PELLA — Slick roads may have been the cause of a pair of rollover accidents this morning on Highway 102. The first accident reported on Highway 102 took place near the intersection of the highway and Cordova Ave.

No serious injuries were reported. The second took place a little later, around 9 a.m., this morning Pella Fire Dept., Pella Ambulance and Iowa State Patrol responded to accident just outside of Pella on Highway 102. According to reports, a black Chevy Blazer slid off the roadway and rolled down a steep embankment. No one was injured in the accident, but two females were transported to Pella Regional Health Center.
