At least one injured in Oskaloosa accident

OSKALOOSA — At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South 17th Street and Ninth Avenue East Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred at around 1:40 p.m. near the University Park Casey’s General Store.

Oskaloosa Police officials at the scene were uncertain of the number of injured people involved in the accident.

The Oskaloosa Fire Department, Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office and Mahaska Ambulance assisted the police department at the accident scene.
