Dutch TV program reaches out to Pella

PELLA — Ilja Willems, a TV producer from the Netherlands - based in NY - is currently looking for American singles of Dutch descent for a Dutch TV program.

"We are looking for male/female singles living in the age of 25-45 years, who are born and raised in America, but are of Dutch origin," she said. "We are producing a TV show about Dutch Americans looking for love."

This show is called Origins of Love. This is based on a Norwegian show, where candidates with Norwegian roots went looking for love from their old country. The Norwegian show was a big success (they are currently making a second season) and we will now do the same for the Dutch. It will be broadcasted on RTL4 one of the largest Dutch tv networks and Producers believe this program will offer our candidates an adventure and an opportunity at true love.

Pella, with its strong Dutch heritage, made it an attractive location for the program to seek participants.

Applicants must be: of Dutch descent, single, aged 25-45, adventurous, open minded, available in winter 2012/2013.

For more information e-mail Ilja at DutchTVproducer@live.nl or Maartje Noorman at aanmelding@bluecircle.tv.
