Festival of Trees winners

Knoxville — The Marion County Historical Society hosted its annual Festival of Trees Nov. 19-20 and recently made a donation to the Red Rock Area Community Action Program. The money raised for that donation came from a favorite tree contest where visitors were able to vote for the best decorated Christmas tree by putting money in the buckets beside them. The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) tree received first place this year followed by the Knoxville Area Community Hospital Lab (KACH) in second place and Stepping Stones in third.

The Festival of Trees committee would like to congratulate these finalists and thank all of our entries. There were 37 trees from groups, businesses and individuals this year. The winners of the favorite tree contest receive cash prizes of $25, $15 and $10 respectively.
