Video, slideshow: Saints celebrate homecoming

Melcher-Dallas — The students in the Melcher-Dallas School District had plenty of fun Friday, as the school celebrated homecoming.

In the afternoon, for about an hour, the students of MDHS welcomed their elementary school counterparts. The older students played games, read to, and colored with the elementary children.

Melcher-Dallas Elementary Principal Trevor Miller said this provided an opportunity for all of the students to bond and get to know one another. All of the students were dressed in their best Saints costume, as part of Saint Pride Day.

The Melcher-Dallas Saints went on to win their homecoming game over Moravia, 76-0. Look for more coverage of Melcher-Dallas' homecoming in the Sept. 21 Journal-Express.
